Surah Ar Rahmaan verse 48-49

Surah ar Rahmaan, Verse 48 -49

ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٍ • فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

{48. – with spreading branches. 49. Then which of the blessings of your Lord will you both deny?}

One of the characteristics o f these two gardens is that they will be shaded by spreading branches and will contain various types of joy and blessings, both visible and hidden, such as no eye has seen, no ear has heard of, nor has it ever crossed the mind of anyone.

Surah UR Rahmaan

Surat ur Rahmaan, Verse 1:

This Surah was revealed in Makkah

The Messenger of Allah (saw) went to his Companions and recited Surat ur-Rahmaan from beginning to end for them, but they did not say anything. The Prophet (saw) said:
“I recited it to the Jinns, on the night of the Jinns and their response was better than yours! Whenever I recited Allah’s saying:
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{Then which of the blessings of your Lord will you both (man and jinn) deny?}
They said, “None of Your favours do we deny, our Lord! All praise is due to you.”
[At-Tirmidhi]

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
{In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.}

This great surah begins with the name of Allah (SWT), Ar-Rahman, the Most Gracious. This is indicative of the vastness of His grace and mercy, the all-encompassing nature of His generosity, and the abundance of His kindness and bounty. All Praise and thanks be to Him.

ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ
{1. Ar-Rahman!}
